Why I started the
website:
I started this website because I have always had a interest in
the Presidents. When I was younger and in elementary school I was always reading
about President Lincoln and then it involved into reading about President
Kennedy. The rest you might say is history. My dream was realized in June of
1998 when I saw President Kennedy's grave for the first time. While looking at
the map of Arlington National Cemetery, I saw President Taft was there also and
stopped by and saw his grave next. After seeing those two Presidents, I figured
why not see the other ones. The idea of the website came about surfing the net
and seeing that others had website's about dead Presidents. I figured I would
join this most unusual group of people.
About me:
I was born in Waukegan, Illinois in 1980. The first twelve
years of my life were spent in the Illinois area. In 1992 my dads job took the
family to Tomah, Wisconsin where we lived until 1996. In 1996 my dads job took
the family to Indianapolis, Indiana. I graduated from Warren Central High School
in May of 1998. After high school I went on to International Business College
where I got my associates degree in accounting in October of 1999. With all the
traveling I have done seeing the Presidents graves I have seen about 20 or 25
states and have been to 6 Presidential Libraries. The most exciting moment was
meeting Hillary Clinton in September of 2006 when I went to Washington D.C for a trip to the US Capitol. My goal is to have see the graves of all of President's and Vice President's.
Goal for my website:
The goal of my website is to help out people that might be
looking for information for papers or just in interested in each of our
countries leaders.
